Lakota Prayer

Wakan Tanka, Great Mystery, teach me how to trust my heart, my mind, my intuition, my inner knowing, the senses of my body, the blessings of my spirit. Teach me to trust these things so that I may enter my Sacred Space and love beyond my fear, and thus Walk in Balance with the passing of each glorious Sun.

According to the Native People, the Sacred Space is the space between exhalation and inhalation. To Walk in Balance is to have Heaven (spirituality)and Earth (physicality) in Harmony.

Lifeline Connections was born out of a dream, a vision to recreate the world within and the world we live in by re-connecting with all that is considered sacred in LIFE. What is sacred in life?  The spark of divinity that illuminates and vibrates at the very core of our essence and in every cell of our bodies – the air that we breath – the photon energy that emanates from our life sustaining sun – the precious water that composes the greatest part of this earth and our physical bodies – the food that we eat and the soil from which it is derived – the animals, the insects, the forests, the stars and all of the wonderfully beautiful and unique human beings that inhabit our Earth.  What is sacred in life is our faith, our hope and our love; our experience and connection with the Divine.  All that is sacred in life are those lifelines  that connect us  with what sustains, motivates and inspires us to live a life filled with passion, purpose,and praise.

Do not imitate the way of the world, but be transformed by constantly renewing the thoughts of your mind.   Put on the True nature which is renewed in the knowledge that you were originally created to reflect the Nature of God. Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
